Lucas Cranach the Younger (October 4, 1515 – January 25, 1586) was a German Renaissance artist, known for his woodcuts and paintings. He was a son of Lucas Cranach the Elder. First he was an apprentice in his father's workshop and then his importance grew. Finally after his father's death he took over the workshop.
